How many mg's of Seroquel are you taking? And how does it effect you?

at our clinic it is 25mg for sleep up to 200mg for Depression and up to 750 mg for anti-psychotic

i started with 400mg from off my last manic phase to bring me down and keep me down; over the past 5-6 months i had it decreased to 200mg because i would have a hard time being awake in the morn even with 7-8+ hrs sleep and coffee would do nothing for me; now i feel good/awake , not groggy, and i only drink a max 1 cup coffee a day

800mg H.S..knocks out all the voices.but still do not sleep well.at least not like i did when i 1st went on it.been on it since it came out,think remember late 90's.but i'd rather not hear the voices,like i said it is taken them 95%.also helps some w/ agitation/irritability.altogether it is a very good med. & know other is who feel same way.hope this help is a little.

I take 1750mgs per day. My doc kept adding more to it because I am still highly & easily agitated by other people is stupidity. Oh & there was the incident where I admitted that I would injure people for being so stupid. Also, she was trying to help me sleep without actually prescribing me yet another medication (I already take 7 twice a day). It did not work for me, so I ended up with a sleeping med anyway. It does not really have any adverse side effects for me it seems, but of course everything effects everyone differently. It did make me gain a little weight (18 pounds in the 2 years I have been on it), but it happens with some medications regardless. Serequel does not seem to be a bad med for me, & I am sure it really helps some other people too.

i got off of it they began out working but they stopped so i just go through life without it

I just got off of it. I was taking 75 mg and I got tired from it and went to sleep. Also gained weight which is something this drug can do.

I do not anymore but I used to take 100 mg even though I was prescribed 400mg. It used to make me sleepy and zoned out. I did not what was going on around me and I kept on feeling like I was going to go crazy so I stopped taking it.
