Are all cardiologists egomaniacs

Most of them are, if I had not questioned 2 cardiologists at length & with a lot of I am the Doctor & ur the patient just do what I tell u attitude that I had over the last 10 years I would not be here to write this. You know ur body better than anyone. Also contrary to the first answer Cardiologists do not ''Operate'' they just diagnose. They treat people generically, that is u either fit in this group or the other. They r more interested in the dollar than the patient & worst of all they see themselves at the top of the ladder as compared to other Doctors. The best weapon is knowledge, everything they know is out there for u to know u just have to look for it. If this sounds bad it is because I did not fit their profile & because of the arroganceI would be dead.

No, they r not. Think of the work they do. They deal with death & dying every single day. They hold ur life in their hands when they operate. They have to study for years to become a cardiologist & continue to study since advances r made almost daily.

You can not blame them if they appear to be a tad arrogant. Mine was a nice, human, person with a good sense of humor. Even if he had been brusk with me, he helped me & I will put up with a little crap for that alone.
