I am interested in being a pediatric cardiologist?Would l have to first be a pediatrician then be a pediatric cardiologist or do l first have to be a cardiologist and then be a pediatric cardiologist? And how many years would l spend and what classes do l need to take in college?

How much money do they make?

What does it take to be a pediatric cardiologist

Most programs would require either a residency in pediatrics or pediatrics/internal medicine. Afterward, a fellowship in cardiology would be required. Total time past med school is roughly 6-7 years. How much do they make- a bunch!

you become a doctor/surgeon first. that takes 8 years. while you are studying you can major in pediatrics. do you have 8+ years to devote to this? they make alot but you really have to want to do this.
