why is my Cardiologist wanting me to go through with cardiac Cauterisation

If you’re male & u lead an inactive lifestyle u probably have at least 3 risk factors associated with heart disease.

I know, I know, u feel fine but so do most people before they have a heart attack. Unfortunately, most people find out they have heart disease the day they r admitted in to hospital, & they r the lucky ones!

Ladies, don’t think this is just something for men to worry about (as it has been in the past). Women, as well as men, r more likely to die of heart disease than of any type of cancer.

It sounds like you are talking about an Ablation. Ablation is where they use a small catheter with a cautery tip and cauterize or essentially ''Kill'' the part of the heart that is causing the problems.

It is a very safe procedure and patients usually go home the same day or early the next morning.
