I've got upper right quadrant abdominal pain esp at night and in
the morning but sometimes throughout the day. My Gl doctor has run all tests (CT, endoscopy, colonoscopy, ultrasound) and says that I've got ''functional dyspepsia.'' This started a few months ago when l got off carbamazepine and started cutting down on seroquel. But l still have to take it to sleep and when l quit completely l had no pain but could not sleep.

Can seroquel cause abdominal pain

I am 16 & on 100mgs of Seroquel,
so far so good really, I've been on it since this previous summer,
2 weeks ago is when I got bumped up to 100mgs.

I really have not had any abdominal pain,
the only problem I've ever had with seroquel is when I took it a bit late & woke up early,
I kept collapsing so I'd run to my bed to catch my fall,
I also felt like I was going to vomit,
clearly this was my fault for taking it when I was not supposed to.

Wait, another problem is the fact that I am unable to sleep a FULL night,
I can nap multiple times, it is really irritating.

What r the possible side effects of quetiapine?
Get emergency medical help if u have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of ur face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Call ur doctor at once if u have any new or worsening symptoms such as: mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or if u feel impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), more depressed, or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself.

Other serious side effects include:

fever, stiff muscles, confusion, sweating, fast or uneven heartbeats;
jerky muscle movements u cannot control;
sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body;
sudden headache, confusion, problems with vision, speech, or balance;
increased thirst, frequent urination, excessive hunger, or weakness;
feeling like u might pass out; or
urinating less than usual or not at all.
Less serious side effects may include:

dizziness, drowsiness, or weakness;
dry mouth, runny nose, sore throat;
nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, constipation;
blurred vision, headache, anxiety, agitation;
breast swelling or discharge;
missed menstrual periods; or
weight gain.
